About Me Sam Kugathas

Sam Kugathas Founder & Operations Manager Livinghope NDIS Disability Services

I’m Sam Kugathas — a community leader, pastor of Amazing Grace Life Centre, founder of Livinghope Inc., and operations manager at Livinghope NDIS Disability Services in Perth, Western Australia.

My journey hasn’t just been about building services — it’s been about building hope. I started Livinghope because I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for people to find real, compassionate support. Too often, systems focus on processes instead of people. I wanted to create something different — a service that puts dignity, empathy, and inclusion at the centre of everything we do.

A Message From Me

If you’re reading this, thank you for taking the time to learn my story. Livinghope isn’t just a name — it’s a mission born from real experiences, real challenges, and a deep desire to serve others.
Together, we can make hope a living reality.

Professional & Community Experience

With over five years’ experience as Program Operations Coordinator at Communicare Inc., I supported families, young people, and migrants facing hardship. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how community, culture, and care must work together to truly change lives.

For the past five years, I’ve been leading a faith-based community through Amazing Grace Life Centre, focusing on outreach, mentorship, and building stronger families. Through our registered charity, Livinghope Inc., I’ve helped run a six-day-a-week food relief and soup kitchen program, offering free bread, vegetables, and hot meals to people doing it tough in Armadale and surrounding suburbs.

Alongside these efforts, I’ve led initiatives supporting refugees and asylum seekers, hosted free health clinics for people experiencing homelessness, and organized community barbecues, blood donation drives, and advocacy events to give a voice to those often forgotten.

Service and Leadership

My volunteer service as a firefighter with DFES has strengthened my resilience, teamwork, and leadership — qualities that guide me in every area of life. Whether it’s responding to emergencies or helping someone rebuild after hardship, I believe leadership means showing up when people need you most.

The Heart Behind Livinghope

Livinghope NDIS Disability Services was born from a simple but powerful belief — that every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care.

We’re not just another provider; we’re a community.

Our services are shaped by lived experience and guided by the same principles that built our charity and church — faith, kindness, and inclusion. Everyone who walks through our doors becomes part of the Livinghope family. We walk with them every step of the way — empowering them to live with independence, confidence, and purpose.
